ARM Amplifier and Processor Modules

The ARM Series of equipment presents flexible, imaginative and reliable solutions to an expanding broadcast environment that has become increasingly diverse and cost conscious.

ARM Signal Processors
Signal Processing Systems contain all the necessary components required in a Master Control Area. Systems can be supplied in either Mono or Stereo. Distribution Amplifiers with stereo and mono converters are standard and complemented with:

• Microphone Amplifiers.
• Dynamics modules including compression, limiting and noise gate facilities for protection of either incoming or outgoing lines.
• Line equalisation modules with either fixed or variable filter characteristics. Fixed modules use passive equalisation components while variable equalisation modules have a combination of fixed slope and variable frequency / boost, in addition to high and low pass filters.
• Power Supplies with and without redundancy.
• Master station-wide tone generators are available with a combination of outputs.
• Crossfade modules with remote control enable smooth programme splits or changeovers.
• Control Logic modules provide front panel and external inputs with a number of options configured using our CLIC technology.
• Analogue and Digital Switching Matrices.
• Time Clocks and Distribution Systems.
• Monitor Panels.

ARM Rack Frames

The standard 4U rack frame gives full access to front panel controls, but where only distribution amplifiers and/or line send/receive modules are needed, an alternative space-saving 3U rack frame is available, with a hinged tamperproof cover to conceal preset controls.

Each frame is capable of mounting up to 10 modules in any combination, with module function designation provided on a large scribble strip. Where only one or two processor modules are required, a 1U mains powered unit can be used.

ARM Power Amplifiers

The ARM series Monitor Power Amplifiers are available in both single free standing and dual/stereo rack mounting units with power outputs of 55 watts or 90 watts per channel. The MOSFET circuit design ensures that loudspeaker monitoring will be of the highest quality.

Internal selected active limiting circuits prevent unacceptably high sound levels and there is protection against RF pickup and connection of faulty loudspeaker loads.
