INTRODUCTION
The ADD8000
series digital audio mixers are designed for use in live broadcast environments where time is of the
essence.
Instant
Access, No Menus, No Files, No Confusion
The front
panels resemble the traditional "analogue" style with
all the desks facilities available to the operator all the time.
A WYSIWYG What You See is What You Get approach has been
taken with the audio mixers allowing the operator to see the full
status of the audio mixer as well as offering immediate access to
all its controls. Colour co-ordination is used to allow quick and
easy identification of different functions on the control panel.
Two size
formats are available - an 8 channel system where the user
controls are located in a 6U high rack mounted panel having all
the mixing and monitoring incorporated, or a 14 channel system
where the mixing and monitor functions are split to allow a
greater degree of system integration.
All audio
processing for the front panels is achieved within a 4U high rack
frame system connected by a small number of serial control
cables.
